Radio Vampiro

(El Salvador)

Radio Vampiro is the project of Beto, a record digger, selector, DJ, and radio host originally from El Salvador in Central America, now based in Berlin. 

With a penchant for tripifunk and cumbia, Radio Vampiro curates selections guaranteed to set the dance floor ablaze.

Radio Vampiro specialize in tropical records from Central America (bugalu, latin funk-soul, cumbia, salsa, Mambo, Latin disco)  and has had the pleasure of sharing my music in various esteemed venues around Europe, Central America and Mexico.

Radio Vampiro hosted radio programs for NTS, Mutant Radio, THF, Refuge Worldwide, and has a residency at Cashmere Radio in Berlin where you can hear his programs on a regular basis.

Their live sets are a fusion of Electro-house and Big Beat with influences from the 90s rave scene, including Techno and Acid-house. Using a variety of synthesizers, drum machines, and vocals played in real time, their core premise is to make the audience dance.
