What's FULGOR

FULGOR, from Spanish, means dazzling brightness or radiant glow, often linked to strong light. This event is all about showing and celebrating Latin American artists in a special experience that combines art and live performances in a unique space in Berlin.

About the artists

He is an audiovisual designer and visual artist. He is a professional photographer and video creator. His works have been exhibited in Buenos Aires, Madrid and Berlin.

With his aerial photograph “Partido”, he became the winner of the 3rd acquisition prize of the Itaú Visual Arts Awards, in its 2019-2020 edition. He is a professional drone pilot and a visual artist who is always interested in new technologies and new formats.

She is a singer, actress and vocal therapist. Her training as an actress and her work as a jazz singer led her to live in cities such as Los Angeles, Tokyo and now Berlin. She is working on the release of her second album/project, "El Camello, el León y el Niño", a dialogue between 7 of her own compositions recorded in 2019 - and considered "oracular" by the artist - that tell a transformation, and a record of her own mutations since her trip to Japan in 2020 until now. Parallel to her performative work, she investigates the relationship between emotion, energy, sound and voice, and trains as a sound therapist, using vocal sounds as a main healing tool and as a way to regain the independence of one's own body.

Paloma Aguirre
Paloma Aguirre, an architect from Santiago, Chile, who creates miniature worlds using found materials. Her work explores infinite fractal landscapes, blending the pictorial with the three-dimensional.
Cristina Estanislao
Cristina Estanislao is an illustrator and graphic storyteller who collaborates with media outlets like ZEIT Online and El País. Her work, which ranges from autofictional comics full of humor to silkscreen prints like "AMOR MUNDI," explores social themes and the vision of an accessible and collaborative urban space.
Emme Moises
Emme Moises is an electronic musician, producer, and live performer from Argentina, based in Berlin. Since 2016, she has been creating audiovisual performances that invite audiences on an introspective journey, where reality is perceived and transformed through sound. Her diverse work also includes roles as a sound engineer, curator, and technical staff for clubs and cultural events.
 Erick Costa Kohl
Erick Costa Kohl from Osasco, Brazil, embroiders photographs and maps with red and gold threads. His art, inspired by cinema, music, and powerful women, transforms found images into personal pieces that aid his emotional healing.
MURIEL-GALLARDO
Muriel Gallardo Weinstein | Fulgor: Chilean-Italian interdisciplinary visual artist based in Berlin. Focuses on textile, surface design, and commissioned installations.
FRAN-POCH
Fran Poch | Fulgor: Chilean music selector and DJ based in Berlin. Expert in leftfield, early electronics, and experimental synth sounds.
Vera Nois
Vera Nois, an Argentinian composer in Berlin, blends indie, pop, and folktronica. Her shows across Latin America and Europe evoke South America's beauty and emotion.
YOEL-DIAZ-VAZQUEZ
Yoel Díaz Vázquez | Fulgor: Cuban interdisciplinary visual artist in Berlin. Explores power, ideology, and memory through drawing, photography, and archival transformation.
Santo Cielo
Santo Cielo is a Uruguayan textile artist based in Berlin. Her detailed, hand-embroidered portraits of animals and people explore themes of domestic life, nostalgia, and storytelling. Using techniques like needle painting and bead embroidery, she continues to expand her artistic language.
Alejandro Spano
Alejandro is a visual artist working with traditional media like sculpture and photography, as well as digital forms such as animation and augmented reality. He combines handmade creations with digital techniques to reimagine his work in ways that defy physical limitations.
