The work of the Argentinian artist, Sofia Nordmann, talks about the part of reality which is hidden for our eyes. Behind each visible thing there is a much larger invisible universe of meaning and significance, history and physics. Even if we are not able to see it, we know that it exists. Destroying her paintings, texts, symbols and photographs, she uses the remains of her work as material to create something new. Partially hiding the original work, she aims to draw attention to the hidden world behind the scenes.
