ABOUT THE ARTIST

Santo Cielo

(Uruguay)

I am Santo Cielo, a Uruguayan textile industrial designer and textile artist, resident in Berlin. In 2015, while researching for my undergraduate thesis, I learned various hand embroidery techniques from different women and subsequently continued exploring needle painting on my own.

My work explores themes such as domestic life, nostalgia, embodiment, joy and storytelling. I create detailed portraits of animals and people, hand-embroidered, using techniques like needle painting and bead embroidery, and I am exploring other textile mediums to expand my artistic language.

Belen Majdalani is a photographer who creates visual analogies and parallelisms to unify seemingly disconnected worlds. Focusing on spontaneity and everyday life, her work explores concepts like integration, migration, and diversity. Her projects have been exhibited in galleries and publications in Berlin, Buenos Aires, Brazil, Russia, and Uruguay.

Emme Moises

Emme Moises is an electronic musician, producer, and live performer from Argentina, based in Berlin. Since 2016, she has been creating audiovisual performances that invite audiences on an introspective journey, where reality is perceived and transformed through sound. Her diverse work also includes roles as a sound engineer, curator, and technical staff for clubs and cultural events.

Cristina Estanislao

Cristina Estanislao is an illustrator and graphic storyteller who collaborates with media outlets like ZEIT Online and El País. Her work, which ranges from autofictional comics full of humor to silkscreen prints like "AMOR MUNDI," explores social themes and the vision of an accessible and collaborative urban space.
